Online Studio Software – How to Convert Leads into Clients
Posted by Elliott Bertsch on Wed, Aug 10, 2011
Have you ever spent a lump sum on advertising for your fitness business to try and generate a bunch of new clients at once? I’m sure you have, most fitness business owners have. There’s only one common issue I’ve seen with this style or marketing. What good is it sending boatloads of people to your business if you or your staff doesn’t have the right systems in place to close the new clients?
You’d be surprised that fitness business owners spend more money over lost leads then they do on finding the leads. If you can’t close the prospect using effective techniques and systems then you can’t grow your fitness business effectively. Keep your leads in check by using online studio software, you can create numerous lead sources and track where your best clients are coming from.

Be a super seller use these tips to close more sales

Tip 1: Don’t ever tell someone to buy your services, lead them to their own conclusion through questions. People don’t want to buy what you’re selling them, but they do want to own it. All too often I see clients come into a business and walk out empty handed. That is because the systems you needed in place to make the sale were not there. Invest in online studio software that allows you to clearly outline your different packages and offerings to help manage these systems.
Tip 2: Pre qualify everyone, if don’t ask the right questions from the beginning you’re leaving yourself with the unknown objections at the end. Don’t give prospects the opportunity to throw all the objections at you at the end of the sales process. You’ll surely get a common “I need to think about it.” If you get that objection it’s a sure thing you did not ask them the right questions from the beginning.
Tip 3: You need to listen more then you speak, if you’re talking through the whole presentation about how great your services are and blah blah blah then the prospect is for sure thinking about what’s on their plate for the rest of the day. But if you’re asking them questions and letting them do most the talking, you have them engaged right here and now thinking about their current situation. This is a win win situation. Use online studio software to manage all the interests of these new prospects coming in to your business.
Tip 4: The most common mistake that I see personal trainers and fitness business owners make is they go through a nice presentation and at the end of everything they don’t ask for the sale. How can someone purchase something from you unless you ask them too? It just doesn’t happen regularly. So ask for the sale on every prospect that your marketing dollars brings you. Believe me you’ll be surprised how many more sales you would have if you did!
