Sharing...taking the industry to the next level

When you run a business, whether it is just you or 30 staff members, it is easy to get in the trap of thinking that your business is so different from all the other people in your industry and that you must hide/control all the information.
The problem with this concept is the industry as a whole can't move forward as fast as other industries that share their information more openly.
I know that the more best practices we can share with the people that are using our business management software the better they can utilize our integrated solution and the better off their business will be. As each person in the community takes a step forward the entire industry moves forward.
How many of you have heard horror stories about people that bought a gym membership or a 24 pack of personal training and then the gym or the trainer closed up shop and they lost their money. Were they impressed with the fitness industry? Did this bring down the professionalism of all the other fitness professionals in the vicinity?
Now not only do you have to attract new clients you need to convince them that your business is stable and that you are a honest person.
Here is 2 years worth of what works, an awesome piece of sharing, from Jeffrey Keller, president of the IHCNA
